Leaking Water Out of Door

We have had several issues with this washer and only been using it for a few years. It has been leaking water out the sides. We replaced the rubber gasket seal with GE parts, had a technician look at it, and it still leaks. It's frustrating to buy expensive products that don't work properly without a definite reason. I don't think I can recommend this product.

Not a fan. Unfortunately after the control panel went on mine this is all I could afford. Easy to hookup and was able to bring home in my car to save money. The top rack is SHORT. I can't put any tall cups in there like I can any other. It's very loud. The bottom drawer falls constantly off sides when pulling out or pushing in. Cannot change from normal wash option. Have to press the start button HARD to get it on. Cleans well tho.

What is the smell, plastic?

Please tell me why my dishwasher smells so incredibly toxic, I understand that it is not stainless steel, just plastic. Is that why it smells so bad after every use! I have left the door open, I have used specific cleaners and only the recommended pods and it still smells so awful. I would rather hand wash my dishes than have to smell that awful smell.

The dishwasher rack has a serious rusting problem. The rack is of poor quality, and the coating is starting to peel off, causing it to rust. It has caused some of my plates to get rust stains. We have had another dishwasher before this one, and we never experienced this problem before.

Bought a home with this dishwasher already installed. It does seem to clean fairly well, but the run cycle is really long compared to my old apartment grade dishwasher. Also doesn't dry very well. Had to turn off the "dry boost" setting as it melts plastics (reusable straws, water Bottle, cup lids). Also don't love the capacity of the dish washer. Maybe I'm just still getting used to it, but it doesn't seem to fit as much especially on the bottom portion.

No gasket on Detergent Dispenser door! Rinses away

The detergent dispenser does NOT have a gasket. This means that your detergent will be washed away before the main wash. On a "normal wash" setting, this dishwasher will run three rinses before the main wash. I opened the door after the third rinse (during the fill for the main wash) then opened the detergent dispenser and saw that 70% of my detergent had been washed away! That greatly impacts performance and what I suspect is causing a lot of the dirty dishes comments you're seeing here. I've never seen a dishwasher with no gasket on the detergent door to prevent the initial rinses from washing it away.... What's even more shocking is that the rinse aid dispenser has a gasket! GE is cutting corners and it's showing with this model. Avoid this model and others that have this dispenser as you're literally washing money down the drain.

The worst dishwasher I've ever had. Literally doesn't work, all of my stuff comes out dirty. I've had it for 1 month and it's worked flawlessly once, maybe twice. If it's not leaving residue on everything it's straight up not cleaning the dishes, often times making it MORE dirty than it was going in. I've never had this issue with another dishwasher. I rinse and scrub my dishes before loading, I regularly clean the filter, I even tried buying the brand name soap. This thing is trash and it is honestly a detriment at this point.

Washes well bottom rack not tracking properly

The dishwasher came with the manufactured home. It wouldn't have been my first choice but I found it was good enough for what I needed because I don't do a considerable amount of dishes. The one thing I found that was terrible was the bottom rack. Being brand new I figured I shouldn't have any problems but for some reason it doesn't track properly. Obviously this causes an issue with the rack going in crooked and getting caught every time I pull it in and out. It's very hard to pull the rack in and out. Apparently it seems to be that something is either bent with the rack or the wheels are not aligned somehow. There isn't much room in there for anything to be off with the tracking so it really needs to be right on the money . This is very disappointing because the dishwasher actually washes really well. It looks like I may have to invest in a new rack.

This is a poor washer. I don™€™t know what caused this, but within the first year of my use of this dishwasher it being brand new from a new build, Very minimal use it started rusting. I was using all the right products I did so much research. I cleaned it the proper way I tried to do smaller loads™€¦ But nothing would budge. The racks are the biggest issue in this dishwasher. They have peeled and bubbled and rusted all over and I am now afraid to use it although I do very minimally. I just noticed it deteriorating more and more and I really hate to have to pay so much for two new racks. I Just want to put this out there to stop someone else from buying these poorly made dishwasher rack. I feel like the rack should be one of the strongest components of a dishwasher because it is such an important part of it. Especially using it the right way. I™€™ve always thought GE has great products but I was wrong :( so sad. We moved in Jan 2022.

Builder installed GE dishwasher broke 4 months after house was built. No parts available so I had to wait months at the holidays to fix control panel and latch mechanism. The repairman sent by GE said if it breaks again the cost of the repair of this model is not worth it as the washer is so cheap. Another year later the washer is now completely dead. And it never cleaned my dishes. I always had to pre clean extensively. I clean all pots and pans myself. It does not dry the dishes at all. All cups have to be laid upon a towel prior to storing away. The door is flimsy and warps back and forth. I am surprised it was able to make a seal and not leak water on the floor. Racks all started rusting before one year.

This dishwasher came as part of the package with a home that we built. It is only two years old and the whole inside is totally rusted out already. I™€™ve been reading other reviews online and apparently this is a common problem with this model. Unfortunately, this dishwasher only has a one-year warranty and as soon as I saw the rust in year one I wish I would™€™ve called and had it replaced. Unfortunately now at year three I am stuck with this dishwasher that™€™s totally rusted out and I have to purchase a new one do yourself a favor and don™€™t purchase this dishwasher.

Have only had this in my apartment for about a year and the day after Christmas it stopped working... the lights would come on after I open the door then after closing and trying to press ANY buttons nothing works then after a few seconds the lies go off... it's been 2 weeks already and maintenance is waiting for "new" one
