The computer control unit went bad after 20 months, terminating the use of oven, warming center, and all functions digitally controlled. Maytag's only solution was to sell me a repair and protection plan for $480. The Maytag quality promise no longer exists.

I previously owned a Maytag stove for 20 years, the board died, and decided on new one. I am not happy with this model. It's a rather flimsy metal composition, gets hot on entire cook top not just burners, and even entire stove is warm from back board to sides. The lower drawer is smaller then previous same size oven. The digital screen appears to be glass like cooktop but it's just a plastic film, makes backboard look cheap. Not happy with purchase. There's no way my husband will let me return, too much of a bother for him. I'm stuck with it.

We™€™ve had this oven for a month now. We are very happy with the look and performance of the oven BUT this oven produces a loud squeak while running. We have called Maytag and they said that it™€™s a ™€œnormal™€ sound for their ovens. After researching it this is a common problem with Maytag ovens and it™€™s not being fixed and is a flawed design in the feet on the lower heating element.

Steam clean...no, not really

I boought the range in January of this year so I have now had it 8/9 months. It pops and makes noise as its warming up the oven. Its quite loud, and continues till its cooled off enough. Ive never heard a range do that. The steam clean is not helpful to me. It doesnt get burnt food off. I actually cant even tell it works at all. It seems ok to cook with otherwise

We are liking this range very much. Love the flat surface with no edges to catch food. Oven and burners heat very quickly. Only thing we miss is the warmer drawer that we had on our previous range. They just don't seem to make the anymore and we used it all the time.

My new range was installed two weeks ago and I'm still getting used to it. It is a perfect basic model without all the bells and whistles that I wouldn't really use. I wish that the timer and preheat chimes were a bit louder, the under-oven drawer a bit larger and the oven vents not right next to the metal handle which warms up from the heat exhaust. It's great other than those minor things.

Attractive looks good in my kitchen. Biggest problem is the timer. You cannot hear it and it doesn't ring very long. Unless standing right beside the unit you do not hear it and you overtake It also seems to take a long time to reach oven temp.

We bought this and after the delivery we discovered the oven door has a broken clip on oven door gasket and hangs loose. we called it in and we are still waiting for it to be repaired. When we looked at Floor model it is also broke and disconnected Still waiting for it to be repaired.
